All payments can be made by personal check, money order, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover). It is also possible to wire a payment directly into our bank account, being aware of wiring fees that usually amount to approximately $30.

Security Policy:

If paying by credit card, your payment and personal information is always safe. Our payment system’s Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.


The deposit amount varies with the cost of the ride:

  • $600 per person for rides under $2000
  • $800 per person for rides between $2000 and $5000
  • $1,200 per person for rides over $5000
  • For rides over $3000, a second deposit of $1000 is required four months before the trip

Promptly after receiving your deposit, we will send you a booking packet with the following materials: detailed information about the ride, the suggested packing list, trip insurance brochure, and credit card receipt (if applicable).

Final Payment:

We send an invoice for the final payment approximately 70 days before the ride begins, and payment is due 45 days before the ride. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation for which payment is not received by the due date.


The prices listed on this website are in U.S. dollars, and are based on double occupancy. We reserve the right to adjust prices when circumstances beyond our control — like fluctuating exchange rates — cause significant changes in the prices. We guarantee the ride price at the time you pay the deposit.

Date Change:

Once confirmed on a ride, changes are only possible by mutual agreement if the adjustment does not cause extra costs or hardship to other parties. The fee is $100 per person in addition to any price increases for the new ride date and the new booking must be within one year of the original ride date.

Refund Policy:

Deposits are not refundable or transferable. We will refund 50% of the final payment if notice is given 31 days or more before the trip begins. No refund will be given for cancellations 30 days and under. Refunds of final payments are not possible for Custom Rides.

Tier Pricing:

On some rides we have created a tier system of pricing, in which the price is dependent on the number of riders. The deposit and invoice for final payment is calculated based on the higher price. When the group size is finalized 30 days before the trip begins, any applicable refunds will be issued.

Single Supplement:

The price for each ride is based on shared occupancy. The availability and necessity of paying a single supplement varies from ride to ride. If you are traveling solo and wish to share accommodations, we make every effort to find a roommate (always of the same gender). On some rides if you are willing to share and no roommate materializes, the single supplement is not required. On other rides the single supplement is required for anyone who does not have a roommate. A single supplement is always required for participants who specifically request single accommodations.

Non-rider Companions:

Non-rider companions are welcome on many of the riding holidays. The price, logistics, and non-riding activities vary from ride to ride. Call us for details and suggested destinations.

Privacy Policy:

We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone.
