Custom Marwari- plan your own riding in India

Custom Marwari Ride

Ride Overview

Let us help you plan a horseback riding vacation in India that will suit your needs and dreams. Visit the fascinating towns and remote villages of Rajasthan on magnificent Marwari endurance horses. Arrange you own schedule on a private riding tour with an itinerary based on your desired start date, length of stay and special interests. You can have your own experienced guide with a backup vehicle to move your luggage from hotel to hotel at a very reasonable price. The weather is ideal for riding tours in this part of India from October through March.

You will find that these beautifully cared for Marwari horses have terrific endurance and can move out well at all paces on the sandy tracks of Rajasthan. You will be stopping to water them from time to time at village watering troughs. Cows and water buffalo are often running freely in the streets and children often shout a friendly greeting as you ride past. The local villagers rarely see Europeans in the back country and this is a fine opportunity to see what the heart of India is really like. People still live here much as they have for centuries. This riding tour takes place in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan where there are many buildings famous for their architecture and elaborate decorations

Accommodations & Food

You will stay in comfortable hotels that are characteristic of this Shekhawati region where there is so much history. The lodging on this ride is in keeping with the traditions of the area. Sometimes you will stay in palaces converted for modern comforts and sometimes in new lodgings built to conform with ancient traditions. If you like Indian food, you will be happy as dinners are served buffet style with a very wide choice of tasty dishes with fresh vegetables and fruit. Not all dishes are highly spiced as these places cater usually to European guests.
